Sengoku Nadeko
Sengoku Nadeko, voiced by Kana Hanazawa, is a key character in Nisio Isin’s Monogatari series, the heroine of arcs like Nadeko Snake and Nadeko Medusa. The 14-year-old junior high monitor (growing to 19) is a petite, shy girl with B-type blood, 153cm tall, who hates eye contact and always wears a hat to cover her eyes. She’s the only victim of the curse spread by Bemki Nezumi, entangled by the Snake Cut Rope, nicknamed "Shy Girl" by Meme Oshino. She has a one-sided love for Araragi Koyomi, and after learning of his girlfriend Hitagi, she swallows the Snake Talisman to become a snake god and tries to kill them, only to be turned back human by Bemki with a fake oddity and cut off contact with Araragi. A sheltered girl slow to detect malice, she later becomes a serialized manga artist, with only a few friends like Araragi Tsukihi.
